Monocromatic Makeup

I wanted to get your opinions on monocromatic makeup. When I apply makeup, either for myself for on other, people I like mix my cool and warm colours together because I find that it adds a bit of contrast as well as definition. I’m not so stuck on if your warm toned then you have to wear warm colours and vice versa. That said, I think that monochromatic looks can look really pretty and just as sophisticated as looks that are a mix of warm and cool tones. When you do your makeup, do you wear monochromatic colours or do you like to mix it?
