What Happens at a Bridal Makeup Trial?

Not sure what kind of look you want or what colours will suit your skin?  I highly suggest that you book a bridal makeup trial. Depending on the makeup artist that you hire, the fees for the session will vary.

At the trial, you’ll get a chance to discuss with your makeup artist what it is that you are looking for. It also includes a full-face makeup application so you get a chance to see the bridal look that you may want for your wedding day.

If you’ve been tearing out potential looks out of the bridal magazines, I suggest that you bring them with you to your trial.  Pictures speak 1000 words, and your idea of a smoky eye may not be the same as what the makeup artist had in mind; pictures allow both of you to be on the same page.

Be prepared to be asked questions, like what are the colours that you wear on a day-to-day basis or do you wear foundation? These questions will help your makeup artist determine what kinds of products and colours to use on you.

Don’t be afraid to let your makeup artist know when you’re uncomfortable with something about your look. The purpose of the trial is to try things out until you get something that you’re happy with.
