In this picture are Mary Kay blush in Golden Copper and Makeup Forever (MUFE) blush in # 20. Believe it or not Mary Kay blushes are quite4 pigmented and are just as durable as MAC’s blushes for a fraction of the cost ($12 CDN). They also blend like a dream. The MUFE blush is new to me as I really haven’t tried much of the products from their range but of the ones that I have tried thus far I really like. I wear the MUFE blush over the Stila Convertable Colour in Petunia, I find that it reduces the amount of chalkiness to the blush. I also mix the MUFE blush with MAC’s blush in Mocha. This combination really brightens my face.
Milani I’ve been wanting to try the Milani blush in Mai Tai (pictured on the right) for the longest time but this brand isn’t carried in our drugstore here so I placed an order online through their website. Mai Tai is the perfect summer blush and I’ve been wearing this one almost everyday since it arrived. The blush on the left was a bonus item from my purchase from Sher’s blog sale. I wear this as a highlight on both my cheeks and on my brow bone.
My Blush Stash with Swatches Pt. 2
Written on Saturday, July 18th, 2009My Blush Stash with Swatches Pt. 1
Written on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 I had no idea that I had so many blushes in my personal collection. Until recently, I’d only ever had two or three blushes in my collection; I was never much of a blush wearer, mainly because I used to always feel like a clown. Blush was that one thing that I could never figure out how to wear so I didn’t wear it.
This post is going to be pic heavy as I’ve separated (for the most part) the blushes by brand.
NARS
I only recently got into Nars blushes. I love how pigmented these blushes are, especially Taj Mahal. Pictured left to right are, Outlaw, Taj Mahal and Lovejoy. Of the three, I use Taj Mahal the least. I don’t think that I have the right blush to apply it with.
MAC For the most part, I’d have to say that MAC blushes are my go-to blushes. From left to right (top to bottom) I have Breezy, Flirt & Tease, Eversun(LE), Gleeful, Mocha and Intenso. I am so glad that I was able to get my hands on Eversun and I missed it last year when it came out.
Stila These are the Convertable Colours in Petunia and Peony. I wear these under blushes that are a tad too light for me like MAC’s Mocha blush. It’s too bad that these blushes are too light for me to wear on their own; I’m dying to get my hands on Poppy, it looks to have a bit more pigmentation the the other colours.
