I have been watching a lot of the reviews of this collection and last week I was finally able to pick up the aquavert eye shadow. I was also hoping to pick up the butternutty shade stick but there were already sold out when I go there. Aquavert is a veluxe pearl eye shadow and is described as a soft mint with white pearl. There is no other colour that I have found to be like it, it’s a really beautiful colour. For some reason, soft greens don’t show up that well on my skin (go figure) so I have to base my eye with Benefits Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Skinny Jeans. I paired aquavert with a touch of humid in the crease and outer corner and a bit of arena as my highlight. Because I wanted to keep the look fresh, I skipped the liner and applied a few generous coats of a volumizing mascara.
Did you pick up anything from the SugarSweet collection? If so, what were your mush-have items?

If you are a lover of M.A.C’s mineralized blushes then you might want to take a look at the new Grand Duos that just launched this past week. The Grand Duo’s are “a Mineralized Blush featuring soft-shimmer super-shine pearl in pretty tri-colour veining to enhance and glorify cheekbones, followed with the pop and dimension of solid colour shimmer without an overly frosted look.” I’m interested in picking up either Intenso which is described as a pink-gold melange/terracotta rose or Grand Duo which is a copper-pink melange/plum.
