The Mary Kay skin care range is separate into two main product ranges: Timewise anti-aging skin care and the classic basic skin care. There is also a cleanser and moisturizer for teenaged skin that is somewhat acne prone called Velocity. When I started using Mary Kay, I started with the Timewise line for combination/oily skin but because I was experiencing some sever acne issues as the time, I was switched to the classic basic line. In my opinion, the skincare range is quite comparable to that of Lancome or Clinique.
The anti-aging line consists of a cleanser, moisturizer, day and night emulsion/serum and foundation. Why foundation? Because they consider foundation the final step in the skincare process (for day) to seal in your moisturizer and day emulsion.
From the skincare range, my favourites are: Purifying Freshener, Clarifying Mask, Balancing Moisturizer, Timewise Day Solution, Velocity Cleanser.
Oh and that really bad acne that I was suffering from cleared (not fully but there was a noticeable difference) after about 6 months of using this product line.
