Beauty Spree: Sephora

Last Friday after work, I quickly stopped at Sephora to pick up a few things. I am on the hunt again for another lip balm and decided to give the Korres range a try seeing as how I love the face primer. I was too sure if I’d actually wear some of the tinted ones so I opted for the plain one in Guava. I also wanted to try the eye primer that they had after reading some some of the reviews online. A lot of people said that it’s sticky and I thought that it would be good for when I used pigments. September is my birthday month (my birthday’s on Saturday) so I got the three lip glosses pictured in the back.

I think that this might be it for my spreeing days; at least until the Toronto IMATS in November. There may be the odd bit to pick up in between then so I’ll try and keep it to a min. I’m hoping to pick up an airbrush kit at the show.

Sephora.com Spree

I’m so behind in posting this and a few more sprees from the past week. A week or so I go I made a mall order on Sephora.com for the Metro Chic Matte nail polish, the Sephora brand Blush Me Twice (not pictured above) and the Stila Mini lip glosses to be used for the followers/readers giveaway.
For the most part, I have to say that I’m pretty impressed with the whole process of ordering from Sephora.com I love that I get to pick the samples that I want to try but the selection is a bit limited. This time around I picked up a sample of the Armani Code Sheer UDPP in Sin and MD Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel.

I plan on doing my nails soon so I’ll take a picture so that you can see what the matte version of Metro Chic looks like.

It’s Here

I went to the post office today to pick up the things that I ordered from Spehora.com last Saturday. I ordered the Beauty Blender sponge minus the cleanser and Korres Face Primer. As you know, you can choose 3 free samples with any order so I picked : Phtyo 9 Daily Ultra Nourishing Botanical Cream, Bare Minerals Primer Time Foundation Primer and Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Under Makeup Primer in Bronze.
I’m back on a primer kick so I’m interested in seeing how both the Spackle and the Prime Time work. I’ve spent the last week testing out the Sephora Precision Sponge. I’m not going to reveal my finding just yet as I would like to see how the Beauty Blender works in comparison. I will say however, that I can understand what the buzz is all about.

Sephora Brand Precision Sponge aka Beauty Blender dupe?

I’ve been dying to try out a makeup sponge like this since I found out about The Beauty Blender. I picked up the Sephora brand sponge on an impromptu trip to Sephora today after work. I can’t wait to try it out. Unlike The Beauty Blender, the Sephora Precision Sponge doesn’t come with the pedestal to dry it so I will have to be creative as to how to get the sponge to dry when I use it wet.
