Mascara is my must-have makeup item. I don’t know about you guys but I feel so naked when I forget to put it on. I have tried so many mascaras over the years and here are a few of my favourites. I’ve been tagged by the beautiful Sher at Voodoo Dolly to share with you the five things that I’m obsessed about.

All Things Minty I love anything minty: gum, candies, lip balm you name it. I’ve been obsessed with all things minty since I was younger. Chocolate and mint are the bomb dot com.

Beauty Blogs
I really can’t seem to get enough of them. I love finding out about new products on the market and what people think of them. They have also been a great resource for when I go shopping for myself or for things to add to my kit. The best part is the interaction that you get from the people that follow your blog or the blogs that you enjoy reading.

My Cats Max (grey) and Sam (black) These two bring so much joy to my life. I’m so glad that the hubs and I have them. My husband works nights so we thought that it would be a good idea to have pets so that I could have some company.

Cooking I didn’t really start cooking until I moved in with the hubs. some of my favourite things to make are quiche and my absolutely scrumptious cheese salad made with beaded, pan-seared Camembert cheese serves on a bed of mixed greens topped with Craisins and homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Books/Reading I’ve always loved to read and have been reading since I was. A few of my favourite book series are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Twilight. I also love books by Kathy Reichs and Patricia Cornwell.

How long have you been using MAC?
Since 1995; I got a few things for my grade 9 graduation.

What was your first MAC product?
MAC Studiofix powder and Fetish lipstick.

What’s your all time favourite MAC product?
I love the Creamsheen lipsticks, lusterglasses,eye shadows and blot powder.

What’s your least favourite MAC product?
The foundations. Studio Fix Fluid is ok but I don’t think that I would repurchase it.

Do you own a Pro Card?
Yes.

Your MAC foundation shade?
I wear blot powder in dark, Studio Fix Fluid in NC50.

What’s your favourite MAC foundation?
I don’t really like the foundations.

Blusher:
Mocha, Ambering Rose, Flirt & Tease and Intenso

Powder:
Blot powder

Eyeshadow:
Patina, corduroy, Soba, Embark and Sketch are my staples.

Lipstick:
I’m not really a lipstick person, but I do like Lickable, Cream in you Coffee and Plum Dandy.

Lipgloss:
I’m a lipgloss fiend! I love Love Nectar, Star Nova, Money Honey,Wonderstruck, Little VI and Viva Glam V.

Liner:
I don’t usually use liner but I do like Blacktrack fluid line , smolder and engraved.

Brush:
I have a few. The 109 for applying liquid foundation, blush and contour, 217 is great for applying shadows as well as blending out concealer,129 is great for applying pressed powder and blushes.

Nail Laquer:

I haven’t ventured into the pro products yet.
