On Saturday I went to Ivory Salon & Spa to have my eyebrows threaded by Irene. I decided to go there after Michelle from Lipstick Rules left me a comment recommending them to me; and because they are close to home. I’ve had my brows threaded before but it has been more then 2 years now since the last time that they were threaded. Pictured below are what my brows looked like before.

And now after

I’m really happy with the way that things turned out. I also had my upper lip threaded as well. The upper lip hurt more then the brows but Irene was really quick. I also couldn’t believe that there was less redness with the threading then I usually get with waxing. And the redness subsided fairly quickly.

Overall, I had a really good experience with threading and also at the Ivory Salon and Spa and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their brows threaded.

to find a place that will not butcher my eyebrows. I was given a few tips the other day when I popped into Sephora at Yorkdale the other day. The cast member suggested that I check out some Indian beauty salons as they usually do a really good job for really cheap. She gave me the names of two places and I think that I’m going to try and brave it this weekend and go and have them done. There’s a place on Gerrard street that supposed to be really good, so I think that I’ll try there first as it’s a bit closer to home then trying to trek it out to Scarborough from downtown Toronto.
