MUFE Face & Body
I had a really rough day, so I treated myself to 3 bags of Kernels popcorn and new foundation. I was looking for something light as I really don’t like full-coverage foundations and see as how I am almost finished my MAC Studio Stick I figured that it would be ok to splurge on a new foundation. I love how this foundation feels on my face and the MA at Sephora advised me that if I needed to, I can build up the coverage. I was looking at the HD foundation but then I remembered that I didn’t like the way that my skin felt when I tried it on and I heard a lot of good things about this foundation. If this foundation lives up to the hype, I’ll be adding this to my kit as an alternative to the Face Atelier foundations that I have.
"Variety is the spice of life": Stila

I think that this saying should apply to your makeup bag as well. Sometimes,we get stuck using the same products that we forget that there are so many out there to try. For me, my crutch is MAC. Now don’t get me wrong, MAC makes some great products but there are other brands that have products that are just as good if not better. For the past week, I have been trying out Stila’s Convertible Colour in Petunia. I’ve been wearing it as a base colour for a few matte blushes that I picked up that are a bit too chalky for me to wear on their own. I have to say that I was amazed at the vibrancy that I got once I applied my blush over top. I’ve had so many compliments from people at work that I am thinking of picking up another one to try. Trying something new can be fun. The thing to remember is to try it even if you think that it wouldn’t suit you; the worse that could happen is that you end up washing it off.
